Jamaica gave the Stones plenty in 1972. Rum, sugar, and Blue Mountain coffee fuelled their Goats Head Soup sessions at Dynamic Sound Studios. Years later, Start Me Up, first jammed as a reggae groove, became their ultimate spark, opening shows from the Tattoo You tour onward. Like the track, this cocktail hits hard and smooth, built to wake the senses and light the fuse.
Ingredients:
- 2 oz Crossfire Hurricane Rum
- 1 oz cold espresso coffee
- 1 oz coffee liqueur
- ½ oz brown sugar syrup
Method:
Shake all ingredients with ice until chilled.
Strain into a chilled coupe or martini glass.
Garnish with a few coffee beans for that final kick.
